Once the OFGs have selected their new cabin boy, the cabin boy's position is full and shouldn't occur for another few years. By that point, the barnacles that have accumulated in the boy's rectum feel as if they are spikes to the OFG's and the boy's youth is now no longer appealing.

Then the hunt begins anew.

So yeah, it's a ritual. If we don't sacrifice a cabin boy to the OFGs, they stop taking their meds, go crazy and do even more reckless shit.

That was Jack Bauer trying to avoid becoming a cabin boy. He kept the OFGs appeased.

By the time the Pirate Babe section came about, Axe was already too far in. Rather, the OFGs were too far in him.

Babes or not, there always has to be a cabin boy.
