bf2 issue

im having trouble connecting in game to the account server. Everytime i try to connect it tells me it could not resolve connection manager host name. I've tried to reinstall the patch, which didnt work, and a fresh install with installing the patch again.

yea and bf2 is permitted to do everything

EDIT: just ran it with norton internet securty disabled and it loaded so that is probably the problem

EDIT: ok it was norton, seems that i accidentally blocked one of the processes, but it still takes a good 2-3 minutes to connect to the account server.

whatever its working so an admin and lock this and toss it

Norton is the worst Firewall program ever. I LOTHE that program! I hope it fucking burns in hell! Every computer I've ever been on that has had a problem and it had norton on it... 9 times out of 10 it was Norton fucking it up.

qfe with any security package, I have AVG and that gives me interferance on my e-mails, (I can't even get them with any type of program)
