Battlefield Pirates days: MarineR's logbook

Hey there, long time no see. I believe that my only and last post from a while ago is already 2 years old. So to bring some of the good old memories I will rewrite and publish some of the sections of my old logbook, from the old Battlefield Pirate days!

For those who don't know me, I'm MarineR and I was a member of [=SC=] (Swords Crossed). It was an European Battlefield Pirates clan, and the only one that could defeat (only once) the mighty Cut Throats on their waters (their server). We respected CT as much as we wanted to beat them.

Disclaimer: all the notes were edited from MarineR's logbook to provide a more comfortable reading experience as my original was written when I had not yet mastered English. Arrr who be deckswabber now?

date: Augusut (?) 2004, - Release day Battlefield Pirates 0.3

For the first time since the release, I played on the official server. It's a whole new game and there were a couple of new outstanding maps. The map, that I played on, was named Tortuga . I believed it was made by the devil it self: -=|CT|=- Anonymousity. (for those who want to see some parts of Tortuga in a funny old video: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1329979286155&set=vb.1131156828&type=3&theater).
On that day, the map became a graveyard for non -=|CT|=- members, since I saw -=|CT|=- Special jimmy there. He slaughtered his way and even threw some of victims out of the town. Oh yes he played well.
Not to be outdone and be embarrassed, I left the game early and used the oldest trick in the digital pirating fps gameworld: lag (on an american server).

Hey MarineR, good to see you are also having nostalgia! Read your other post about SC times. Reminded me a lot about the old days, we had such an amazing time in Pirates!
