bf2 demo, post screens & cool stuff

ok, i was digging around & found something cool, try it out

if someone hosts a server with this file changed & we all do it, we can play online with all the other guns Razz

personally, i like the g3... but im a bit inclined to, i have one (wondering if there are any other CT gun collectors/fans) its not exactly a g3, its a cetme, but a g3 is just a cetme after the germans bought the design from spain (g3 is the military name, the gun is called ab h&k 91 when its not a full auto army gun) i really like the model thats in the game, it looks JUST like my cetme (i have a green g3 stock set on it)

omg lol Supa, screens go in C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Battlefield 2 Demo\Screenshots

I guess they put it in there to make it so you don't have to dig through all that crap to get to your screenies... for some reason, I can't seem to get screenshots of scores, so that kinda sucks, me and Supa were pwnin last night, in the CT squad we made Very Happy

there's me lookin at a swimming pool, if you look at the message place, you'll see the dilemma with my name and mah tag... oh well

some ppl are all pissy that it doesnt look like the screens EA put out (duh!!!) but i have 1 word for it... FUN!!!!!!!

im not one that cares much for gimmicks & uber graphics, i care about how the game plays (thats why i liked HL2 better than doom 3)

you can tell they spent a lot of time on balance, no kit seems overpowered & the vehicles seem a lil underpowered if anything (makes for FAR better gameplay) even between the 2 armies the kits are distinctly different, but equal (aks have less range but more power & the m4 variants are more range, less power, but only the spec ops have full auto for the USMC, all MEC guns are full auto or single)

i know brutus doesnt like machine gun games, but they give you a lot of room here, its made to be fun, not uber realistic, u can take a few hits before u die (unless its really close range, range affects damage a LOT, even on sniper rifles) i really think ea did a good job on making it fun (its a lil buggy, be warned, but if u get rid of the movies, the menu is much better)

My Radeon 9250 is short by only a little. I can access parts of the menu, but I can't play the actual game. So much for BFP2... once I get this job, i'm upgrading this bad ass mofo'!

here's something neat-o

in game browser thing: in the filter for the server name, search for either "unlock" or "TL" the servers you find will MOST LIKELY have the weapons unlocked and/or no time limit. (mind you, on no time limit servers, it still says there's a time limit, but when it counts all the way down, you can still play Very Happy

)

It just worked with my old Radeon 8500! It was cool - I DO hate machine guns though. I hate getting the drop on folks only to balze away point blank for like 2 seconds before the turn around and start shooting me.

The ONLY thing I do like about machine guns is that I can dodge and shoot. BUT because nobody else is aiming dodging is pointless too. Rolling Eyes

I guess that makes it doubly bad and no good at all... Sad

I hope BFP2 is like BFP now - skill required, not luck and firepower.

I just set this game handy with my 9800 pro, and amagad its ripping. I loooove. Once these finals are done, we NEED To play together. Everyone!

BTW: im a roxor terrorist. I sneak in to a USMC base, steal a humvee, pull it out and strap it up with C4, then plow my way in and BOOOOOOOOOOM
